OGEDE COMMUNITY-OGIJO

Praise God! We’ve just concluded our outreach programme as stated in our last report. It was a 2-Day programme which started on the 2nd and ended on the 3rd of May 2014 in the community of Ogede.

Ogede is a small community mostly dominated by Muslims. It shares boundary with other communities including Ilara, where we carried out our first outreach. Below is the report with some Photo shots taken during the outreach.

DAY ONE (FRIDAY-2nd MAY 2014)

The outreach started with a large turnout at about 10am. The Outreach and Medical Teams were introduced to the community by the chairman of the community. After the introduction the Ministration of the WORD was given by Pastor Godson Umoh. Many lives were touched by the WORD. The sick were prayed for and many received their healing.

The Medical Team also attended to those who needed medical attention. Those attended to were persons with Eye problems and glasses were given out at a subsidized rate. Malaria Tests were also done to both adults and children free of charge and medication was administered to those who were Positive to the Malaria Test.

DAY TWO (SATURDAY-3rd MAY 2014)

Today was very exciting because the turnout was large and there was a large Harvest of souls for the kingdom. Pastor Godson Umoh ministered and led the crowd in a mass prayer of acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour including the Muslims present.

Pastor Dorothy Umoh also ministered the word of God to them before sharing the following gift items: cloths, biscuits and noodles.

The Medical Team was also on ground to attend to those with eye and malaria issues. Children 6 months to 9 years were given oral Vitamin A also, there was a film show at the village square by 7pm
